Set of Four Lenox "Boehm Birds" Plates
A set of four plates by Lenox from the Boehm Birds series which was a limited annual edition. Each plate features a different bird designed by Edward Marshall Boehm. In this set there is the ‘Wood Thrush’ released in 1970, the ‘Goldfinch’ in 1971, the ‘Mountain Bluebird’ in 1972, and the ‘Black-Throated Blue Warbler’ in 1980. The plates feature their respective birds among flowering tree surrounded by a gold border. One plate still has the original Lenox box and paperwork.
