Fancy Style Victorian Steamer Trunk

Item Details

A late 19th-century, fancy style steamer trunk, having an affixed label, ‘M.M. Secor, Northwestern Trunk and Traveling Bag Manufactory, Racine, Wisconsin’, with a pencil date of 1889. The canvas covered exterior is painted green with an oak framework and brass and tin corner and edge mounts. The interior is completely intact and original with tray and compartments, having alligator textured detail.
