Geralde Henn Workshop Basket, Baker, Eight Padilla Pottery Mugs
Item Details
A beautifully handcrafted weaved maple basket in a fruitwood stain with leather handles that houses a Roseville Spongeware oval baker dish. These are both crafted at the ’Workshop of Geralde Henn in Warren Ohio. Also eight matching Padilla pottery 12 oz. mugs in a Mid Century Modern style with a soft beige glossy glaze and lighter dripped glaze at the top. This is the famous Padilla Stoneware Mug. Not just any stoneware, Padilla pieces are internationally renown for their uniqueness and durability. Padilla mugs are fired twice at ultra high temperatures and completed with the trademark dripping effect, creating deliberate imperfections in the finish that make each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art. This crafted stoneware is glazed inside out using only lead-free glazes, and use strict quality control measures to ensure that there are no traces of lead or cadmium. Mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe. Rodolfo Padilla is a very accomplished ceramicist, sculptor and painter. His art work has been presented at exhibitions worldwide.
