Pair of Sterling Silver Norwegian Ship Salt Cellars
Item Details
A pair of sterling silver Norwegian salt cellars. These are shaped like viking ships, and one has a glass insert. The underside shows a scene from Nordkapp, with a polar bear in the foreground of a fjord and a shining sun. Each is stamped ‘Norge 830S LO,’ using the old Norwegian stamp for sterling and indicating the Bergen maker Brodrene Lohne. Weight: 1.51 ozt.
Condition
Only one ship has its glass insert.
