Jose Rijo Signed 1990 MVP Engraved Bat COA

A Jose Rijo autographed Rawlings black bat is featured in this lot. The bat’s barrel has, ‘1990 WS MVP Jose Rijo’ engraved into the wood; ‘WS’ = World Series, ‘MVP’ = Most Valuable Player. The bat’s markings are silver in color; Jose autographed the bat with a silver marker. His signature was obtained at Sports Gallery, located in West Chester, Ohio; their autograph ticket is included. Rijo was the dominate starting pitcher for the Reds during the 1990 season. He won two games in the World Series.
