Circa 1930s Secretary Desk by Scholle's Chicago

A beautiful circa 1930s secretary desk by Scholle’s Chicago, originally from the home of one of the stars of the famed television show The Little Rascals. Desk is made of walnut and features beautiful wood inlay, a bronze tone carved medallion, and acanthus leaf detail. The front tilts down to reveal an interior of pigeonholes with a small central cabinet. Below there is a full-length drawer for additional storage. The desk also features a decorative carved band around the top, a lock and key and sits on turned legs with an H style stretcher.
