African Elephant Statues

Item Details

A pair of elephant statues from Africa. The first piece features a naturalistic elephant trumpeting with trunk raised and mouth open. Holes on the mouth indicate where faux tusks once set. The animal is carved from a solid block of dense, dark wood and has been polished to a smooth finish. The second piece features a stylistic elephant with a candle holder platform on its back. The animal is carved from a light, brown wood. Would go well with 15CIN 474-554.

Condition

Large elephant has natural cracks in the wood. It is missing tusks. The roughhewn elephant has some cracks and wear.
