A photograph of the 1972 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. This photograph was taken from what looks like the top of the grandstand and features Riva Ridge winning the race. Riva Ridge also won the Belmont Stakes, while being ridden mainly by Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte, who rode stablemate Secretariat a year later. This photograph is surrounded by a green and gold luster frame.
