Salviati Art Glass Table Lamp

An art glass table lamp by Salviati. The lamp body is comprised of several hand-blown pieces of white glass with swirling, metallic gold lines, held together with a rod. A linen drum shade in cream tops the lamp. To the bottom is the original foil label that reads ‘Salviati & C,’ Made in Italy. Salviati was founded in the middle of the 19th century and employed many famous artists to reinvigorate the Venetian mosaic glass scene. The company is now famous for decorative pieces and home lighting, such as this piece. Worked when tested.

Condition

Base is wobbly, needs tightening. Tested and works.
