Turn Of The Century Oak Carved Chest of Drawers

Item Details

A turn of the century oak chest of drawers with beautiful book matched drawer fronts, possibly in a sycamore wood. The chest has an overhanging top, rounded-end trim to each drawer, as well as carved fig/date drawer pulls and carved leaf escutcheons. All three drawers are lockable with a skeleton key (not included). The chest has turned pilasters applied to the corners, scalloped apron brackets and round turned legs. On the right side of the chest is a turned knob. When pulled out it becomes a towel bar. This chest has bracket feet with original casters. Hand cut dovetail construction.
