A vintage Parker Brothers Monopoly board game circa 1961. The yellow box edition was released in 1961, as evidenced by the markings on the lid. At this time Parker Brothers were operating out of Salem, MA, Des Moines, IA, New York, San Francisco and Chicago. The wording under the main ‘Monopoly’ banner is also indicative of the 1961 release. The game comes with money, game pieces and the board.

Condition

The box shows wear consistent with much use. Good amount of original paper money and game pieces available, as well as some other game pieces mixed in.
