A lovely L. Hitchcock Sheraton style side chair with a dynamic botanical stenciled back with gilt florals. Shades of autumn colors highlight the stencils. Rings of a gold colored paint provide strategic highlights to the turned spindles and graceful curves of the chairs. It has a hand rubbed finish on the seat. On the back of the seat is stenciled ‘L. Hitchcock Hitchcocksville, Conn Warranted’.

Condition

A few scratches on seat and a chip in finish on the back.
