Vintage Pete Rose 3000th Hit Child's Tee Shirt and Bat

A vintage Pete Rose 3000th hit child’s tee shirt and small souvenir bat. Pete Rose made that 3000th hit in 1978 while playing for the Cincinnati Reds. The tee shirt is white cotton with red sleeves, and red trim around the crew neck. The front has the photo of Rose tipping his cap after the hit. On the back is the photo of the actual hit and written, ‘Charlie Hustle Makes It Happen!’ Included with the shirt is a small souvenir Louisville Slugger bat with the name ‘Tony Oliva’ burned into the bat. Oliva played for the Minnesota Twins from 1962-1976.

Condition

Faded from washing, some pilling on the fabric. A brown stain on the front.
