French Victorian Era Six-Sided Cigar Holder with Music Box

A French Victorian era six-sided cigar holder with music box. The outside of the piece features a veneer of birdseye maple veneer with a black lacquered and bronze trimmed wooden frame. Gold-toned metal appliques of instruments adorn each of the piece’s six doors which open to reveal metal cigar holders attached to the reverse on rosewood veneer. The base of the piece contains a music box along with a signed plate at the bottom and instructions for use in French. The music box is not in working condition.

Condition

Music box key is over-turned and not operational. Some of the border trim is coming loose.
