Pair of Pierced-Back Wooden Armchairs
Item Details
A pair of pierced-back wooden armchairs. Each chair features a cane seat with an upholstered seat cushion in a gold and green quatrefoil patterned fabric. The chairs feature an oval-shaped decorative carved medallion to their backs and have a peg and groove through tendon constructed frame with saw tooth detailing under the arms. The back rail of each chair is straight while the fronts are slightly bowed. The chairs rest on two front straight tapered front legs with two flared legs to the back. Both of the chairs are marked ‘B337’ on their undersides and each is finished with a honey brown stain.
