A Neo-Grecian figural globe lamp. This is a painted spelter statue lamp with a glass globe shade adorned in floral elements. This is a vintage electric lamp that appears to have been converted from a small statue. A Greek male figure in a toga holds up the bulb like a torch and holding a leaf, and making a fist with the other hand. He is standing on wings with some machinery behind him. The statue is painted with a gold tone. It is stamped Germany on the bottom but no manufacturing marks. The hand making the fist has a hole in it where he used to be holding something and there is a small hole drilled at the top of the head.
