Hans Wegner Peacock Chair

A vintage ash and teak Peacock Chair designed by Hans Wegner in 1947 and produced by Johannes Hansen in Copenhagen, Denmark circa the 1960s. The chair features an ash frame with teak armrests. It features a hoop back with a dramatically curved top rail and spindles and a rush seat atop four rounded splayed legs joined by a stretcher. The chair is marked on the bottom of the seat.
