A rare, antique Tule River Tribe Native American basket. Basket is a tightly woven, polychrome, Yokuts coiled basket with root colored decoration of geometric and triangular stripes and quail feathers adorning the shoulder. The red dye is from red-buds, white from wire grass root, and black from mountain ferns. Comes with a small paper that has information about the basket.
