F.B. Rogers 'Melon' Silverplate Tea Service with Tray
Item Details
An elegant five-piece silverplate tea set by F.B. Rogers in the melon pattern. Set includes a footed coffee pot and a teapot, each with hinged lid. There is also a lidded sugar and open creamer. All pieces feature a delightful segmented melon form, with decorative foliate elements to handles and spouts, and melon bud and leaf finials on lids. Marked F.B. Rogers 1883 to underside (does not indicate date of manufacture). Butler’s tray is unmarked, but appears to be the matching one for this set.

Size of tray. Coffee pot is 10" high and 10" wide, and teapot is 6.75" tall and 13" wide.
