An offset lithograph reproduction of a 1978 painting by well-listed Bolivian painter Graciela Rodo Boulanger (1935-), titled The Team. The image depicts a team of rugby players, painted in Boulanger’s characteristically childlike style. Simple features and highly textured areas of flat color build up the scene, as the children pile on top of one another in a desperate attempt to grab the ball. The original painting is signed in black on the right edge. This print is double matted in mint and forest green, and is presented behind glass in a thin silver-toned frame. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging, along with a short biography about the artist. More information about the artist can be found at the link below.
