1950's Chambers "C" Model Gas Range

A 1950’s Chambers ‘C’ model gas range. The range has its original white porcelain and ‘tear-drop’ thumb latches with pointed ends. The range top features a surface griddle with pop up broiler and griddle cover, as well as three surface burners with the manufacturer’s ‘daisy’ burner design. The range top also features a Thermowell, which includes the original aluminum seven quart all-purpose kettle with vegetable insert and three 2 quart kettles, all with clamp covers. The two quart triple kettles can be utilized alone or together. The aluminum Thermowell utensils are all stamped ‘Wear-Ever, Chambers Corp., Shelbyville, Indiana’ on the bottom. The larger baking oven measures eighteen inches wide by twelve inches high by eighteen inches deep. The smaller baking over measures eleven inches wide by twelve inches high by twenty three inches deep. The range is adaptable for use with natural or propane gas. There are scratches on the porcelain, and some damage to the chrome due to age and use. Could use a good cleaning. Unable to test working condition due to absence of gas line connection. Kickplate is loose on left side.
