Small Pine Blanket Chest

Item Details

A small, child’s size blanket chest (24×12×14) made of pine, featuring iron hinges, handles, and locking mechanism. The lid of the chest has beveled edges, and is slightly warped. Each edge of the chest exemplifies very neat dove tailing, though some damage has occurred.

Condition

Lid is slightly warped. Locking mechanism currently inoperable, plates do not sync up. Wooden border on bottom edge of chest has significant damage, but still very much attached to the chest. Scratches and dings to entire chest consistent with age and use.
