"Nanga" Woodblock Print by Gizan Izuno
Item Details
A woodblock print titled Nanga by Japanese artist Gizan Izuno (1885-1956). Izuno, from Kyoto, started studying the Southern School of Chinese Paintings and then later the Northern School of the Sung and Yuan Dynasties. This print features a landscape with a boat in the middle of the centered body of water and mountains on either side. It has chop marks to the upper right, and a bio affixed to the reverse. Presented behind glass in a wooden frame with thick brown woven border; ready to hang.
