A signed artist’s proof of ‘Double Gray Scramble’ by Frank Stella. This abstract, colorful serigraph by American artist Frank Stella (b. 1936-) is marked in pencil in the bottom right corner ‘A. P. VIII F. Stella’ and dated ‘73, indicating it is artist proof number eight from 1973. The piece revisits some of Stella’s previous works and ideas, ‘scrambling’ them to create this new configuration. It is presented in a black, shadow box style frame.
