Vintage Woodcut on Textile By Nancy Reinke
Item Details
A vintage colored woodcut print on textile by American artist Nancy Reinke, titled, Star Kazak, circa 1980. The print itself creates the illusion of a miniature Persian rug as the woodcut image has been transferred directly onto a piece of rectangular linen, frayed at both ends. The image is beautifully colored and the star motif is stunning. Marked in pencil to the lower left margin edition 21 of 200; title is marked in pencil to center lower margin; artist signature in pencil to lower right margin. Mounted behind white mat, under glass, in a beveled wood frame with distressed gilt finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

- light wear to finish of frames along edges and on corners.
