A pair of 20th century limited edition lithographs of the New Orleans French Quarter by well-listed artist Paul De la Fille (1927-2010). Both busy, detailed prints depict the beautiful stone streets and intricate architecture associated with this area. The first print depicts the historic Cabildo Alley, and is signed and numbered 210/300 in ink in the lower margin. The second depicts an unnamed intersection of two streets lined with buildings featuring intricate balconies. It is signed and numbered 101/300 in ink in the lower margin. Both prints are matted in matching brown and presented behind glass in speckled silver-toned frames with black trim. Wires are attached to the verso of each for hanging.
Condition
-light scratching to edges of frame, though it’s unclear how much of it is intentional for the “rugged” style of the frames.
