Cast Iron Floor Safe by Meilink Manufacturing Company

Item Details

A small size cast iron floor safe by The Meinlink Manufacturing Company of Toledo, Ohio, circa 1880. The safe is rectangular in form with a hinged door, brass combination turn and handle and sits on casters. This is painted black with thin gold pin strips and the company logo in cabochon painted to the door. The interior cavity is open with floral lining, which can be removed.

Condition

- some paint loss. The door is currently opened, but the combination is not known. Chipping to paint.
