Original Harold Brummett Seminole Brass Sculpture

An original brass wall-hanging sculpture by Seminole artist Harold Brummett. This sculpture was cut from sheet brass, and depicts the silhouette of a mountain lion in front of a barren, twisted tree. Patination across the tree’s surface gives it a coarsely organic texture. The sculpture is signed ‘Seminole Artist, Harold Brummett’ in ink on the verso. The Seminole tribe, originally from Florida, has long been known for their stunning skills and arts and crafts; they were one of the tribe’s major sources of income for generations. A hook is welded to the verso of the sculpture for hanging.
