An original landscape pastel painting titled Les Coquelicots in Dumont by Pierre Poulain (French, b. 1927). With a vibrant, almost glowing intensity, this contemporary Impressionist style pastel features a field with orange poppies and other flowers in Dumont. Art is signed P. Poulain by artist on the lower right, and marked with title and No. 29 on the canvas rear. The art is mounted with an ivory gold tone edged mat under glass, in a mottled bronze tone and black painted wood frame. Purchased from Charlton Hall Galleries. Inc., South Carolina.
