A panoramic hardback book of mid-nineteenth century lithograph reprint’s, titled ‘Currier and Ives’ America’ The book was published in 1952 by Crown Publishers and contains ten out of the eighty prints. Currier and Ives were a successful American firm headed by Nathaniel Currier and James Merrit Ives, producing lithographs as ‘Colored engravings for the people’ Each page has an extended commentary on the back and the times they portray.

Condition

Some writing of the front of the hardback book and the prints are not attached to the binding. The prints have age wear with light bends.
