Vintage Copeland Spode Gainsborough Dinnerware

A vintage twelve place setting dinner service with extra pieces of Copeland Spode Gainsborough dinnerware. This collection includes one teapot, three platters, two serving bowls, twelve dinner plates, nineteen bread and butter plates, three soup bowls and saucers, twelve salad plates, eighteen cups and saucers and one gravy bowl. The Gainsborough pattern features a multicolored floral design on a white scalloped plate. This pattern was produced beginning in the 1940s and was featured dinnerware that could be purchased piece by piece at a discounted price with a fill up of gas at local gas stations or with the purchase of a certain amount at grocery stores.
