1972 Porsche 914

Item Details

A 1972 Porsche 914. This short-lived Porsche model was initially introduced to the American market in 1970, as an affordable way for the average Joe to own a Porsche. Built with a Volkswagen motor, the cost of this model was initially much lower than the popular 911 model, but still retained that sleek, sporty look that Porsche is known for.

This vehicle has a 1.7 litre engine, and only 77,000 miles. It could use some work, but what an incredible showpiece once it’s finished! Because the 914 was such a short run, 914’s are difficult to find these days, and this one is ready to become yours. Although the vehicle is not running, the body appears to be in good shape, with no evident rusting. Preview is recommended.

  • EBTH does not warrant condition of vehicles. Condition stated is that of owner. Please bring mechanic to preview for personal assessment. Please also note that any item with a transferred title must be paid for via cash, cashier’s check or wire transfer. Lastly, the winning bidder is advised to check with their DMV / BMV to ensure that all necessary paperwork, tags, title transfer, et cetera are complete before the car is removed from the premises.

Condition

Vehicle has been sitting in a closed garage for an indeterminate amount of time. It is currently on blocks as it appears something is wrong with the rear axle or differential. There appears to have been rodent inhabitants at one time, but the upholstery appears undamaged.
