Salvador Dali "Inhabitants of Prado-Inferno 26" Wood Engraving

A Salvador Dali (France, Spain, 1904-1989) Inhabitants of Prado – Inferno 26 wood engraving in color. It is also signed by the publisher on the reverse of the print. This image is a large grey, cracked stone that has human legs and one arm protruding through holes. A religious figure in a brown robe is standing at the base and staring at the rock. A gilt and red painted wood frame and linen mat completes this piece. Also included is a certificate of authenticity from Park West Galleries.

• Please consider that although the piece is an authentic wood engraving from Dali’s The Divine Comedy, it should be noted that the (pencil) Dali signature was added post mortem by an unknown source and not by the artist himself.
