A cast iron figurine depicting German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. Rommel was the commander of the German Africa Corp. Western Desert Campaign in Egypt and Libya earning him the nickname ‘Desert Fox’. This cast iron figurine has a circular base with two cast marks on the bottom and is stamped ‘1-6 Spain ARM’. The folded map he is holding depicts the area of the Western Desert Campaign, the area of Rommel’s first offense.
