A contemporary original canvas painting by local artist Lillian Boyer (1916-2003). This vibrant piece exhibits splashes or red, yellow, orange and brown, and is signed in pencil in the bottom right corner. The canvas has a solid walnut frame with a wire hanger on the back. Boyer was a significant artist and activist in the Lexington area for many years, renowned as a painter, sculptor and printer. She did much to connect the public with local artists.
