"The Family" Signed Print by Lillian Boyer

A contemporary intaglio print by local artist Lillian Boyer (1916-2003) titled The Family. Boyer was a significant artist and activist in the Lexington area for many years, renowned as a painter, sculptor and printer. She did much to connect the public with local artists. Lillian was the mother of local artist Frank Boyer. The piece is signed and numbered (15/50) in pencil to the bottom left, dated 1970. The handmade paper has an embossed free-form geometric design. The work is single matted in brown and framed under glass in a Balsa wood frame, wire hanger on the back.

Condition

The Balsa wood frame is wood stained and is in good condition with some minor imperfections.
