Double Swing Arm Clock Featuring Two Women
Item Details
A double swing arm clock depicting two women. The clock has a brass mechanics interior with a small internal pendulum and is unmarked. The orbs are a dark midnight blue and has brass numbers on the dial with what appears to spelter embellishments on the side of an acanthus leaf design with a ribbon design at the crest. The pendulum itself its two tones and goes to the weighted bottom where an acanthus leaf design at the top and bottom of the orb. The statue depicts two women holding the clock above their head. Both are wearing draped garments and the right figure is holding a bowl of fruit while the other holds her dress. The statue itself appears to be made of bronze and has not been restored.
Condition
The clock itself is in good condition. The sculpture has not been restored, and shows the original patina with age. Preview for own personal assessment.
