Herrick (1865-1950) This beautiful image depicts a bouqute of yellow and purple iris flowers set against a soft periwinkle background. The painting is signed by the artist along the lower border, and is titled and signed in ink on the painting’s verso. The painting is presented in a gilt oval frame with floral embellishments at the top, bottom, and sides. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging. -light accretion has gathered across the surface, most visible on the blue background areas. light surface damage on frame, including one small area of loss on the upper right corner.
