Circa 1860 Chinese Shandong Province Qiu Wood Cabinet

Item Details

A circa 1864 Chinese Shandong Province qiu wood cabinet. The cabinet features three drawers to the top with embossed metal demilune pulls, double cabinet doors with inlaid plank fronts and circular Chinese hardware flanked by three small drawers to each side with round back plates and ring handles; resting on bracket style feet. The drawers to the sides are separated by an inlaid elongated wood piece with pointed ends and all of the drawers have hand-cut dovetail construction. This piece retains the hang tag from ‘Hemisphere Imports ~ Exotic Home Furnishings’.

Condition

- missing the pin to the hardware of the cabinet doors, wear is consistent with age.
