Vintage Starr Baby Grand Piano and Stool

A vintage baby grand piano and matching stool made by Starr Piano Company of Richmond Indiana. This has beautifully detailed wood cabinet with a dark aged patina with Ivory keys. The legs are carved and taper to wood rollers. The braces are carved in a scrolled pattern. The hinged wood music stand has carved details around the edges. Stamped on the sound board is the number "75100" and "Starr Piano Company, Richmond , Indiana". Also "Starr Richmond Indiana" done in gilt painting on the front of the piano. The stool top opens to store music.

  • This is located on the main floor with no steps and a double door walkout to the driveway. A professional piano mover is suggested. Item is not available for transfer to any EBTH warehouse. Item must either be picked up locally by winning bidder during the published pickup times, or arranged for shipment.

Condition

the piano needs tuning. All keys are operational. The left foot pedal is in the down position. One spot of carving is missing from the left side of the cabinet.
