1940-1960 Herbelot Hand Signed & Colored Parisian Scene Serigraph

A hand signed and colored serigraph by Parisian street artist Franz Herbelot is circa 1940-1960. The charming watercolor print features a Paris street scene on the banks of the Seine as well as a view of an ancient bridge over the Seine. Pulled in an edition of 224 the print is signed ‘Herbelot’ at the bottom of the image and numbered 15/224. The title, ’Paris de Pont Gar_ (illegible), is nearly hidden by the frame. The French artist, Franz Herbelot, has painstakingly embellished this lovely work of art with gouache. The print is presented in the original wood frame with gilt accents.

Condition

The art is in good condition but appears to be slightly faded with some darkening of the paper due to age.
