This piece depicts the Pont Marie bridge on the Seine River in Paris, as seen from the water. The application of paint is heavy on the knife making for a mottled impasto that gives the impression of falling sunlight. Painting is housed in a silver washed wood frame with linen border. Artist’s signature in paint to the lower right.
