C. 1920's Oak Chest of Drawers

Item Details

A 1920’s chest of drawers, an attractive piece that has been refinished at some point during the last century.
It features a plain top with overhanging rounded beveled edge above two shorter and two larger drawers, the carved skirt below adorns a circular cartouche raised on turned feet to front and straight block feet to back.
The drawers feature crude hand cut dovetails to front and tight fitting machine tail joints to back.
This piece has been finished with a deep denim blue stain and the drawer fronts have newer brass hardware. The back panel is unfinished with wording ‘G* Dr. Wal’ stenciled to back.

Condition

- scratches and chips to stain. Would benefit from being re-finished.
