An antique Chinese throne chair with marble insert. The chair is constructed of elm and has a two lions adorning the crest with a sphere within the center resting on a floral pattern below that encircles a marble insert. The wood surrounding the marble panel depicts a serpentine design that follows down the arms with an intricate foliage pattern in the interior of the arms. The chair legs themselves are cabriole with an intricate design in the front seat rail. The chair is unmarked and compliments 017.
