An original oil on canvas painting presumably attributable to Dorothy Getz (b.1901). The painting is signed Getz ’78 to the bottom right hand corner. The artist has rendered a fabulous image of a woman standing in her front yard, intently concerned with her easel, beneath a beautiful blossoming tree. The painting is tastefully presented in a wooden frame with ornamental designs in low relief, accentuated by white paint in the recessed areas.

Condition

Wear to frame consistent with age, nothing glaringly askew.
