An original miniature, acrylic on canvas painting signed ‘Hammond’ to the bottom right hand corner. The artist has painted such a strange little clown, clad in a sloppy pinstriped suit, ill fitting and probably stolen. He is standing between a pair of money bags and smoking a cigar like he couldn’t care because he’s taken the money. This charming canvas is framed in a beautifully ornamental wooden frame, highlighted with gold gilt, and embellished with designs in low relief.

Some minor wear chipping and paint loss etc.
