An original hand colored engraving after Henry Alken (British, 1785-1851) entitled ‘Dangerous’, this incredible print depicts a fox hunting scene wherein the rider is spilling off his horse that’s spilling after him in a plunge to tempt death, that’s definitely Dangerous. The print is framed in a simple black wooden frame with gold edge and red inner border.

Condition

Print is browned and dulled in a manner consistent with age and exposure to sunlight. Still a phenomenal and evocative piece of art.
