Set of Four Framed Antique Jolles Needlepoint Portraits
Item Details
A set of four framed antique JOLLES needlepoint portraits showcased in tiered hardwood frames. Each of these pieces depict a woman wearing a hat and high neck garment and are tack mounted to cardboard. These works of art are housed in solid wood tiered frames. Two of the frames have glass fronts and two do not. Each piece is stamped ‘JOLLES’ on the lower corner of fabric.
Condition
Condition of needlepoint is very good. The condition of the wood frames is consistent with age and use evidenced by some nicks, scratches, areas of finish loss and torn paper backs.
