Original Evelyn Levy Shaw Drawings
Item Details
An assortment of seven figure drawings in charcoal, graphite, and other various media by well listed Cincinnati artist Evelyn Levy Shaw (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1921 – 2009). The artist has thoughtfully portrayed a variety of different models, exhibiting her talents and well articulating the human anatomy with keen sensibility. This lot features a variety of evocative figures including one that’s emaciated, a dramatic and populated drawing, and a beautiful drawing of a man from the shoulders up. None of them are framed, but all should frame well.
Condition
Fair-good, with general wear and toning to the paper, some smudges, et cetera, should frame beautifully.
Dimensions
Dimensions of drawing may be interchangeable depending on the drawing’s orientation.
