An assortment of eight figure drawings in charcoal, graphite, and other various media by well listed Cincinnati artist Evelyn Levy Shaw (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1921 – 2009). The artist has thoughtfully portrayed a variety of different models, exhibiting her talents and well articulating the human anatomy with keen sensibility. This lot features a variety of evocative figures, and a beautiful painting on paper featuring a variety of cartoonish male figures exerting their force on the landscape. None of them are framed, but all should frame well. Most of these drawings are signed, however two are not.
Condition
Fair-good, with general wear and toning to the paper, some smudges, et cetera, should frame beautifully
Dimensions
Height and width dimensions are interchangeable depending on orientation of drawings.
